Do you ever wonder what a Geek reads online? Aside from Mommy Moment of course 😉
Well I figured I would give you a little glimpse into what this Geek reads online. Maybe you read some of the same stuff.
Who doesn’t like a good comic? I know I do. And yes I read Dilbert. If you work in the corporate world or know someone who does, Dilbert is just a little funnier for you than the rest of the world. Am I right? Another comic that I enjoy is xkcd. Here you will find humor that sometimes only a programmer will love. If you don’t get all the jokes at xkcd I understand. There are not many people I know outside of the IT world that do. To be completely honest I don’t understand them 100% of the time either.
I love to read the news and learn a little more about the world around me. I frequent typical news websites like MSN and Canoe. I also like to read up on geeky news at Slashdot. Here I find all sorts of news tidbits about all things Geek. Slashdot has topics about viruses, software, economics and all other sorts of things that a Geek may want to read about.
In order to get up to speed on the latest video game news I go to IGN or Game Spot. Here you can find reviews on games and articles discussing the latest video game releases. If I need a little help, or I want to find everything in a game, I go to GameFAQS to look at or download walkthroughs and FAQ sheets.
So there are just a few of the websites that I like to frequent on a daily basis. Where do you go online regularly? I look forward to reading your responses.
Craig is a self proclaimed geek with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. Craig has been working in technology for over 10 years and involved in video games a lot longer than that! He is married to Angela, the blog assistant for Mommy Moment, and together they have 2 children.
