Although the new year is often the time when people make fitness and health goals, for me I find Back-To-School is a great time to get into a regular health/fitness routine.
“Snake oil” is a term used to define a product that claims to deliver a promise, but does not ever seem to deliver. When it comes to weight loss products, we all know that there are MANY “snake oil” salesmen out there, so when I was approached to review PGX, you can imagine my skepticism. Before I say anything else, I have tell you, this is no snake oil!
PGX, made by Webber Naturals is not just a weight loss product. PGX helps you feel full faster than if you would take nothing other than the food. Why is this? PGX is made of fiber. Fiber is good for you. That is about the best way I could explain it to you without breaking into some type of science lesson. If you want the more scientific answer, check out the Dr. Oz video below.
PGX also helps with the lowering of cholesterol and controlling your blood sugar. This is done by increasing your fiber intake via the PGX. By increasing your fiber intake (via PGX), there are countless benefits that your body will thank you for.
It has been asked if PGX is safe to take. I had the chance to speak with Dr. Joyce Johnson BSc, ND
Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine before I started taking the PGX. She thought it would be good for me to try and I’m so glad I talked with her. I have been taking capsules of PGX before meals (or the packets of granules when I’ve been out) and have not seen any side effects, except that I had to be sure to drink enough water so that I could still go to the bathroom normally – as with any high fiber diet. I have noticed that I feel more full, have more energy and feel better all around when I take the PGX. The best thing for me is that I notice I do not have the side effects I used to have with my blood sugar being low and I do not have the cravings for sugar like I used to.
The contest prize is $50 of coupons for Webber Naturals products and is available to residents of both Canada and the US.
