WHY I LOVE SNOW DAYS

Living in Canada has given us some amazing experience when it comes to snow days.

Ever since I can remember, I have always loved snow days.

Missing school, or work, because the weather is too dangerous to go out in, is super nostalgic.

There are so many reasons why I love snow days.

Now that I am a parent, snow days have gotten even better!

I love being able to spend the day with my little ones cuddled up on the sofa, drinking hot chocolate.

There is just something so cozy about a day when it is so cold and blustery outside, and we are inside watching from the window.

I love snow days because they give me a chance to have impromptu bonding moments with my kids.

It gives us the chance to have an extra day together.

I love snow days because they are the best excuse to drink hot chocolate with tiny little marshmallows floating around.

Snow days are my favorite time to watch movies, bake cookies and indulge in delicious comfort foods like baked macaroni and cheese.

The break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life is much appreciated.

Snow days offer my family a little bit of freedom to enjoy something different.

I love snow days because staying in our pajamas all day is one of the best feelings in the world.

I do not have to do my hair, or fiddle with makeup.

I can simply hide indoors and appreciate the comfort my home has to offer.

Engaging in snowball fights is an exciting way to spend a snow day.

I love making snow angels.

I love building snow forts.

Snow days offer the chance for me to be a kid again. They offer the chance to get silly.

Snow days offer the opportunity to just let things go and enjoy the present.

When the weather outside is frightful, being home, safe, with the ones I love is absolutely delightful.

I often find myself looking forward to winter because I look forward to these snow days.

The reason I love snow days – the real concrete why – is simple actually.

They are nostalgic, they bring back my childhood memories and they allow me to create new and fun ones for my kids.

I love snow days simply because they give me the chance to bond with my girls doing anything, we want all day long.

Snow days present me with the gift of more time with my kids, and that is the best gift of all.

I love snow days as long as I don't have anything important going on where I have to be somewhere.
