What is one thing on every mom’s wish list? Time alone to relax and enjoy some time without having someone needing your immediate attention. And what better way to do that than with a massage!
I admit, I love massages, but since my massage therapist had a baby and moved her practice to her home 30 minutes away, I don’t go for a massage as much as I used to or would like to. So I have been shopping around for a new massage place near me.
In my search, I talked to someone who recommended Still Waters Massage in a nearby town only 7 minutes away. I met the owner and massage therapist Amanda MacLaren and felt comfortable with her right away. She is a kind woman with a bright smile.
Amanda is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from ICT Northumberland College in Halifax, one of the top Massage Therapy Colleges in Canada. She believes in assessing all her clients to get the most information about their various conditions in order to treat them in the best possible way.
Still Waters Massage specializes in Myofascial Release as well as Pregnancy, Child massage, Sports and Motor Vehicle injuries. Having a massage while pregnant, by a massage therapist who specializes in pregnancy massage, is a great relaxing experience.
What is your favorite part of a massage experience? The actual massage? The time to yourself? The way your body feels relaxed afterwards?
2 Canadian Mommy Moment readers will WIN a 30 minute massage gift certificate for Still Waters Massage located in Blumenort Manitoba.
