Our Kitchen Renovation

Ready….

Our home built between 1923-1928. We purchased it from my grandparents almost 3 years ago.
As you will tell in the photos, we tried to keep some original like the window frames as they are sentimental for me.
Now everything is completely finished in these pictures, but I couldn’t wait any longer to show you all!

Want to see the CRAZY renovation mess? Just take a glimpse here…I warn you though, it’s pretty scary!

Same area now:
(I love the built in look for the stove. It was the way to not make it look like 2 rooms because of the wall beside where the fridge is in the top picture).

Ooh, I love the pull out spice cabinets!

Corner window area used to be our dining room:

Same area now:
(Now has window seats for the girls with great storage drawers under. We still need to have the seats upholstered as I’m not fond of the blue towel look LOL. I also love the corner pantry and office area!)

Our old flooring:

Our new hardwood:
(it looks kind of red in the photo, but it is really more of a walnut color).

So, That is stage 1 of the reveal. We still have the new dining room and sitting room area to show you, but they are not ready to show you yet.

We have a very small house, but I am thrilled to call it home!

Are you glad I shared?

(This post is NOT sponsored. We paid for the whole thing ourselves…I wish I could have reviewed such a beautiful kitchen LOL).

I want your kitchen! My house was built in 1930 but its tiny and ancient, and I cant image it could look as yours does.

Our house is tiny too - I can not believe how it has been transformed. I don't mind that it is small.

I was thrilled into this page. Wonderful images. The furniture with decoration is incredibly dreamy and mystical.

Wow, what an amazing transformation! You have SO much storage now. I love the floor to ceiling cabinets and the pull outs. Also - so cool that the home was your grandparents'!
