Plaid About You – Perfect Nail Design for Christmas

Here is another Christmas gift set from OPI.  This one called Plaid About You. It includes 4 polishes:

This nail design is the perfect nail design for Christmas!  In this design, I used OPI…Eurso Euro and I cannot get enough of this colour! It is a rich, deep blue that looks slightly purple in some lighting. If OPI…Eurso Euro was a person, it would be a heart breaker! I think this is a great winter colour and you’ll see me wearing it often. It has a good formula and dries quickly – exactly what I like in a polish.

The design was quite simple. I just started painting lines in a flower like shape until they filled up the nail as much as I wanted. I then added some lines of a lighter blue in the petals to add a bit of texture to them. And of course I added a few dots to finish of the look. When in doubt, add dots. That’s my rule of thumb. If you don’t have a dotting tool, just use a toothpick, it works just as well.

The Start-to-Finish polish I already reviewed in an earlier post and it is a great base/top coat.

There are so many gift sets to choose from this year. OPI did a great job on these and I’ll use all four of these polishes over and over again.
