In BBQ Heaven with Ted Reader & Schneiders Croque Monsieur Hot Dog #recipe #BBQtraditions

And as for Ted, he is in the process promoting his new book Beerlicious: The Art of Grillin’ and Chillin’ and provided a sample of some of the amazing recipes inside using Schneiders quality meats.

Watching Ted cook and share about how he does it was like watching an artist paint a master piece.  All of my senses were woken up, but the most privileged sense of all was my sense of taste.  We sampled everything from a perfectly cooked steak to a breadless pizza and something known as ABT (Atomic Buffalo Turds) and much much more.  All of it was simply simply put the best BBQ I have ever had and I felt so privileged to meet Ted and sample some of his gifting.  We even had a BBQ dessert cupcake make with his signature BBQ sauce.  LOVED IT.

During our time with Ted we had the pleasure of asking him some questions about BBQ and some tips to help us.  Ted shared lots with us from his his process for making the perfect steak and  from how to cook with charcoal.  He shared about the importance of resting meat and all the prep work that is need before cooking.  My brain was on information overload and I wanted to take in all that he had to offer.

This event was a blast and I cannot wait to try some Schneiders product using the recipes from his book.  And ladies, if you want you significant other to start cooking, this is a simple way to get him to cook more.  Buy him this book.  It has everything he will need to make a good meal and give you a break for at least one meal 😉
