HOW CAN I HIDE MY KITCHEN COUNTER CLUTTER?

Removing clutter from your countertops makes your kitchen feel cleaner instantly. I like to start with the counters so I can use that momentum to keep going. Because by the time I get to the junk drawer, I’m toast!

If you don’t have enough space for everything you want to have on the counter, build vertical space.

KITCHEN SINK

Organize the area around your kitchen sink by having a designated space for all your dishwashing supplies. This means everything from hand soap to sponges should be in one place, so you don’t have to search around the entire kitchen every time you want something new.

If there isn’t enough room near the sink or underneath it, then it’s time to get creative. You can build extra cabinetry that matches your kitchen to create more storage space.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO ORGANIZE YOUR KITCHEN CABINETS?

Utilize all of the space in your cabinets, to the best of your ability. Organizing cabinets is easier said than done, but if you dedicate time to it and give your cabinets a good cleaning before you start organizing them then they will be looking like new in no time.

DRAWERS

If you’re anything like me, then your junk drawer is probably a nightmare. But it doesn’t have to be that way anymore. Cleaning out the drawers makes them easier to use, which will stop you from shoving random things inside of them just so they don’t get closed. Using drawer organizers allows the drawer to become a space where the things you use most often are closer to hand.

Drawer organizers aren’t just for drawers; you can use them in your cabinets as well. Especially if you have a large cabinet at eye-level or above, you may want to use organizers so you can pull them down and go through them when you need something. This is much easier than having to grab a step stool.

WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO ORGANIZE A KITCHEN

COOKING SPACE

Organization makes cooking and cleaning up easier as well. You won’t be searching through piles of dishes looking for the right one. You will always know where things are because everything has its place. Don’t you hate getting ready to start dinner and you have to clean the pots and pans right before you use them? Or do you have to go hunting in the cabinets to find that one pan you need for your sauce for spaghetti?

When you organize your kitchen you will eliminate these problems. Pots and pans will be easily accessible and you will be motivated to keep your kitchen clean also.

The kitchen is one of the most used rooms in any home. It’s a place where we enjoy cooking and eating, and bonding with children and family members. We love teaching our kids how to cook and starting out with an organized kitchen has made that a more enjoyable experience.

Decluttering your kitchen will give you more space to do these everyday tasks with less frustration. Don’t wait – start today!
