There are so many different ways to honour your Dad this Father’s Day, but the best gift is always the gift of your time.

No matter what activities you plan for Dad this year, you are bound to find something he will enjoy. Just get creative and follow your heart.

GO FISHING – Fishing can be an exciting and relaxing experience at the same time.  Buy Dad a new rod, reel or lures and don’t forget some delicious refreshments and snacks.

RACE GO KARTS – Challenge Dad to a race!

PLAY A ROUND OF MINI GOLF – A day out mini golfing is a great way to celebrate Father’s Day.

CHECK OUT A BREWERY (for adult children) Organize a trip to a brewery with Dad. This will give him the chance to sample several different varieties of beer.

FIRE UP THE GRILL – Invite Dad over to sample some delicious food fresh off the grill.

CHALLENGE DAD TO PAINTBALL – Nothing says I love you quite like a little competition.

TAKE IN A GAME – No matter what sport Dad loves, take him to one of his favorite sporting events. Many different stadiums will offer awesome Father’s Day deals, allowing you to take in a game without breaking the bank.

GO CAMPING – Get back to nature with Dad. Camping is a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and really connect.

SEE A CONCERT – Check out your local listings to find a concert or even an outdoor music festival. Don’t forget to bring water, snacks and a blanket to sit on.

TAKE A COOKING CLASS – Sign up for a cooking class and learn some new kitchen tricks with Dad.

PLAN A ROAD TRIP – Hit the open road with your dad. Do not forget to make a playlist of Dad’s favorite songs and bring a road trip kit!

GO FOR A HIKE – The great outdoors is a great place to connect with your Dad. Go for a hike and let dad choose the path he wants to take.

PACK A PICNIC – A picnic is such a wonderful way to connect. Pack a blanket, some delicious foods and refreshments and find a great place to make some great memories.

HAVE AN OUTDOOR MOVIE MARATHON – Screen some of Dad’s favorite movies outside. Don’t forget the popcorn!

There are so many great activities to celebrate Father’s Day this year.

Just remember, the best present is your presence. Dad will appreciate any time you choose to spend with him.
