Some people rely on “Dr. Google” for answers when they are suffering with minor ailments such as seasonal allergies, some ignore it and hope it goes away, and some try over-the-counter medications and cross their fingers that it will do the trick.

People just want some peace of mind to figure out how to best treat the symptoms, yet they do not want to wait to get in to see a doctor for something that does not seem serious enough.

Manitobans live in one of the lucky provinces where pharmacists can actually assess common, minor conditions, and if appropriate, write a prescription.

If you or your family members are suffering from minor ailments, such as seasonal allergies, stop in to your local Shoppers Drug Mart and ask a pharmacist for more information/treatment advice.
