I went to camp as a child and I’m sure that when my girls are a bit older they will attend camp too. I would also love to attend family camp now that our girls are out of the baby stage.

Pioneer Camps offer different camp experiences in the different provinces. Be sure to check out the Pioneer Camps because there is really something for everyone.

Here in Manitoba, Pioneer Camp offers:

the most extensive wilderness/tripping activities. 5, 10, 20, days out in the wilderness with other campers.

Although this would not have been my experience of choice, I know my husband would have loved this!!

The Manitoba Pioneer Camp is the smallest in Canada
This camp offers a LIT program which is excellent for those looking for leadership training. (The LIT program does not qualify for the 20% off).

The Alberta Pioneer Camp:

primary focus activity – horsemanship

The Ontario Pioneer Camp:

In Ontario, Pioneer Camps have 3 main offerings:

1) Adventure Camp:
-Ages 5-10,
-2-1 camper to staff ratio (if not 1-1)
-activities: archery, mountain biking, swimming, creation station (arts & crafts), etc.

2) Girl’s Camp
-ages 7-16
-tripping/wilderness
-canoe
-kayak
-1-5 day wilderness trip
-weekly theme or program – leader and staff act out the theme for the week at dinners, etc.

3) Boy’s Camp
-ages 7-16
-tripping/wilderness
-canoe
-kayak
-1-5 day wilderness trip
-weekly theme or program – leader and staff act out the theme for the week at dinners, etc.
