Stressed? Depressed? Anxious?

Did you know that every person is subject is subject to mental illness at some point in their life? This may be a personal experience or one involving a family member or friend. It may be a temporary issue or something that affects your entire life.
I will be contributing to the Monthly Mental Health Moment the first Friday of each Month.
Too many people are unaware or uneducated when it comes to mental health issues and often there is a stigma attached to such conditions. I’ll be talking about everything from worry, anxiety & depression to stress, schizophrenia and bi-polar along with any other topics you want me to address.
I am a child protection worker and licensed registered social worker in my home province. I have training in Mental Health, addictions as well as different kinds of child and adult therapy.
We know some of these topics have popped up on blogs lately because they are important. Worry, depression, and Stress (49 posts on stress in my Google reader this month) as well as other mental health issue should be talked about. Let’s get rid of the stigma!
So readers, what questions do you have? What do you struggle with? What stress do you feel overwhelms you? What would you like me to talk about with you in next months MENTAL HEALTH MOMENT?
Please leave a comment and well talk about it!

Great post! I think I have talked about my anxiety on my blog everyday this month!! I suffer from anxiety and since my daughter was born (12 weeks early) I have suffered from post pardom depression. I am on medication, but it's not working 100%. I would love to know other outlets to deal with the stress.

This is wonderful, I wish more people understood different mental illnesses. Me and my husband both suffer from depression, and are managing it with medicine, but we have our days. It doesn't mean we are broken. Good for you for taking an active approach. I will be reading! Thanks!
