The kids are back in school and the busy schedules are in full swing. How are you mama’s holding up? Have you had enough time to adjust to this season of life? We are slowly but surely finding the natural rhythm that works in our home.
Today we are going to chat about school snacks for kids. This post was generously sponsored by the good people over at Annie’s Homegrown, or as we know them – Annie’s. I actually became familiar with the brand because of their organic Mac and Cheese which has become a staple in our house for those busy weeknights when we need something ready in a hurry. Mmm! Honestly though, check out their site – they have quite a large variety of products. Today I will feature a few of their products when sharing snack options for school lunches.
SCHOOL SNACKS FOR KIDS
Most kids get at least one break during the day when they can grab a snack. My girls get one snack to pack in their lunchbox and another snack to have when they have a break during the day. These are in addition to their lunches. If you are looking for snack ideas, here are some ideas for you.
SNACKS FOR KIDS
Fresh Fruit – I prefer to send an apple as it is quick and easy to pack and does not require a container.
*Yogurt – Yogurt tubes are a quick and easy option and you don’t have to worry about forgetting a spoon.
Veggies – Carrot sticks and sliced peppers are our go-to vegetables for snacking.
*Popcorn – There is something about popcorn that is extra fun for kids.
*Fruit Snacks – My girls come home with a huge smile when they get the Organic Berry Patch Bunny Fruit Snacks in their lunch box. Certified organic, these vegan and gluten-free bunny-shaped fruit snacks are made with real fruit juice and packed with 100% daily value of vitamin C.
Muffin – I try my best to keep some homemade muffins in the freezer as an option.
*Granola Bars – Great snack to grab and go. Annie’s offer organic and gluten-free varieties.
*Crackers – Annie’s cheddar bunnies are a personal favorite in our home.
*Cookies – Cookies are a sometimes snack for our girls. When they do get cookies, I go for the organic varieties. The Bunny Grahams are irresistibly delicious. I may just sneak a few when I’m packing them for the girls.
For your convenience, I marked an * by the snack ideas that are available from Annie‘s.
Annie’s uses 70 – 100% organic ingredients which make it a popular choice for many parents.
Have you tried any Annie’s products before? I’d love to know!
If not, which snack item would you want to try first?

I love Annie's Granola Bars. It is filling and delicious. The Cheddar Bunnies are my grandchildren's favorite snack so I always have some at home in case I get a "surprise" visit.

Annie's is always a welcome treat. We love the different flavors of their bunny crackers. My personal favorite is cinnamon sugar. It is on my desk when I am working.
