I know, its winter, but I love pastel colours and just couldn’t keep them off my fingers any longer! I created a simple and elegant design with these colours that I absolutely love!
First I picked four light polishes and put them with a white to make five. I used a soft pink, a minty green, a light blue, a simple lavender and my favorite white. You can use any colours you want that look good together.
Then I painted each nail with a different colour as a base polish.
Next I put strips of the other four colours over top of that with my small nail art fan brush. You can get a nail art fan brush off of Ebay for cheap, or you could try using a bigger painting brush to apply the strips to your nails. Make sure these colours don’t complety cover your base polish so you can see as many of the pastels as possible.
Taking out my white thin tip, next I made curvy lines that stemmed from one corner. To finish it off I added some white dots around the white lines with my dotting tool.
This design isn’t in your face but blends nicely into most outfits. Maybe wearing this light desgin will coax spring out of its shell.
