MATERIALS:
- wood picture frame
- acrylic paint – I mixed Americana in Slate Grey & DecoArt in Cinnamon Brown together
- paint brush
- tacky glue
- decorative rocks
- scrapbook paper (at least the size of your frame)
- markers
- brown paper bag
DIRECTIONS:
On a flat and protected surface (try wax paper), paint your frame with a coat of paint. I mixed two colors together to get more of a rocky color. Let dry.
Use tacky glue to attach rocks to frame. Put glue on the rock and press it into the frame. Let dry overnight before moving.
Cut a decorative piece of scrapbook paper to fit into your frame. Mine was 4×6.
Hint: Use the paper that is in the frame as a template.
Use a brown paper bag to write “My Dad Rocks.” Tear or cut and attach to scrapbook paper with glue or tape. Place in frame and give to dad.
