Local Shining Moment ~ Heiko

Many Canadians suffer the long dreary cold winters just waiting for that glimmer of sunshine and those warm sunny days.

Although many will put on those summer shorts at the first sign of any degrees above zero, for the rest us we wait until summer has really hit.

Well it is official that summer is here and everyone is basking (and baking) in the everlasting sunshine, but somehow it seems to take that first real sunburn to remember to wear SPF.

Maybe the many warnings of skin Cancer hasn’t sunken in. But when the sunken skin you have and the leather like look and texture you’re now sporting on your face, might now get you thinking… Hmmm, I should have worn SPF and protected my skin.

Now if you’re the kind of person that can’t be bothered to find that time machine to back 20 years, then a good regime is to start your skincare routine with a good SPF.

This week’s Local Shining Moment takes you to Woodbridge, Ontario. There you will find Heiko, a great Canadian Made Skincare line that is 100% Natural with no parabens, synthetic perfumes, and no preservatives and has a fabulous SPF skincare line for you and the whole family.

From the Age Defense, Active and even a Kids formula, Heiko is a great line that will protect your skin from the very harmful effects of the sun we love so much and will keep your skin looking great all year round.

So before you hop into those shorts, hit the beach or do that sun bathing in your back yard, make sure you slather on some SPF to prevent getting that senior’s discount when you’re 45 years old.
