Baby Sign Language

Picture of our daughter signing “More”

Baby Sign Language is such a wonderful way to communicate with your baby before they can talk! I became a Baby Signs Instructor 4 years ago. Does Your Baby Know Sign Language? I have seen the benefits from signing with my own girls as well as with many other babies and toddlers.
I will never forget the one story of a 3 year old boy who actually said his first word during a workshop I doing at his home. Seeing the dad with happy tears in his eyes was such a great moment for me!
If you have thought about using Baby Signs Language with your baby I wanted to share this Baby Signs Coupon with you. I know that saving money in this economy is very important!

I taught my daughter sign language as a baby. She excelled and her language and communication skills are advanced. I think it's well worth the time invested. DVD sign language videos worked well.

I have used sign with my 6 youngest children and swear by it. I suggest it to everyone I know that is pregnant :)

How great! My brother in law is deaf and my husband is fluent in sign language. We can't wait to teach our future children.

We love baby signs in our house! My son was SUCH a frustrated baby, and the signs really helped with that.

My daughter is now signing too and it's so nice to be able to communicate with her a little bit.

Alysha, I would definitely try a few more signs w/ your kiddo - perhaps "all done", "more" and "eat"? Those seem to be the most commonly used in our house.

Great post, Jody!
