Abstract Nail Art
These abstract nails were painted by Meg.
A lot of the time when I do nails, I do designs that require certain colors ~ like a penguin, or mountains or a giraffe.
So sometimes I like to do designs where I get to pick whatever colors I want. Like this abstract nail design.
The great thing about this abstract design, is that they don’t need to be perfect because the design is supposed to be random!
I love the bright colors!

Megan is a 15 year old student, in grade 9. Her passion for nail art started at around age 11 but she never got into doing designs until this last summer when she and her family moved to Steinbach. Megan loves trying new designs out on her nails and sharing them with the people around her. She would love to pursue a nail career after grade 12 and enjoys having her own private ‘salon’ (Meg’s Nails) in her basement while still in school.

This design is really cool and it could be considered art for sure.

Another design that I learned, I am now collection of different colors of nail polish and each week I change my nail arts. And this one will be my next nail art design.

I have taken a new obsession with nail polish. I really love this look! It's great. It looks really nice and not thick. I have to get the art of it down. I plan on posting more about nails (even though I'm not nearly as talented). I'll have to check out some more of your posts.

Thanks! One of the things that I find makes painting nails easier is using what you have. The big dots in this designs I created with the eraser at the end of a pencil! Look around and see what inspires you. That's how you can get awesome designs. I just looked at some of your nail posts, they are great! Super fun!
