I am sitting here shocked. I can hardly believe that come March 1st, 2012 GFC will be discontinued.
If you are a fellow blogger, I’m sure you are feeling a bit unhappy with this news too. We all know how hard we worked to build up our numbers. Some of you will remember that early on I lost my Google Friend Connect Followers and had to start building them up from scratch…I can’t help but think about how many hours were wasted.
If your blog is a blogger blog you will not be affected by this recent announcement.

This article says GFC will be shut off for "non-blogger" sites starting March 1st.

Wow! I had no idea until I seen this! I am not happy at all:( It took me a while to get the followers I have. I have been working my butt off in the last two months to grow my follower base and now they're gonna be gone? I'm on Blogger but I can well imagine it won't still around too long there, if they plan on getting rid of it completely in the very new future. Damn! This sucks! GRRRRR Guess I am gonna be learning Google + too! Thankful for our twitter followers though, at least we won't loose them! LOL Stupid Google.

It doesn't affect me but it doesn't really bother me at all. It's not really a "true" sign of how many people are reading your blog because it's used so often to gain entries in giveaways.
