As some of you may know, I am on a 15 day Candida Cleanse. This morning when I was making my breakfast I thought I should share the recipe with you. The hardest part of this Candida Cleanse for me is coming up with things to eat, so I thought I would share my recipe in case any of you are ever having a hard time coming up with ideas of what to eat on this kind of cleanse.
Warm Quinoa & Almond Breakfast
This recipe is one that I made while I was on the Candida Cleanse. It has a nutty texture and paired with the coconut milk makes a great breakfast. (I make extra quinoa for supper and use the leftovers for this quick breakfast).
- almond milk
- coconut milk
- chopped raw almonds
- touch of pure vanilla extract (optional)
- Put your cooked, warm quinoa in a bowl and add coconut and almond milk to taste (I found I needed both as just coconut milk was a bit too strong).
- Add vanilla if desired.
- Sprinkle with almonds and cinnamon and enjoy.
