Twitter Jail

“Twitter Jail is no tweeting if you’ve reached the limit of 100 tweets per hour/1000 per day. You can access your page, you may not post publicly for a specific period of time. Anything from half an hour to a few hours.”

Urban Dictionary

I guess there is a first for everything! I can’t say I enjoy this though…

I was having so much fu n Tweeting in the #BlissdomCanada Stream because today was the day to get tickets for the conference (which sold out in 90 minutes). I am beyond thrilled that I got a ticket!

Then I was co-hosting the awesome @MC_Canada #SmartPop Twitter party with @BOREDmommy (You know, the party where they were giving away 6 -$75 Visa Gift cards) when it happened, I could not tweet anymore…

I felt violated…sad that I could see the conversation going on around me and could not join in on the fun…

Thanks to everyone who is sending me messages anyway, I can’t wait to get out of Twitter Jail! (I’m @mommymomentblog)

Especially want to thank @MC_Canada for this… “no worries! you did an awesome job! twitter jail = job well done!!”

Now I hope I can get outta here before the Ultimate Blog Party 2011…

For now you can find me @mommymomentJAIL

I have entered Twitter jail numerous times before. Whoops! Such a dreadful place, but I have multiple accounts for multiple Internet endeavours so I always have somewhere to turn if I get thrown in jail.

Twitter jail? Seriously? That's totally new to me and kind of retarded if you think about it.

I take part in Blogchat and have been there several times myself. No fun at all.

There is nothing fun about it at all, that's for sure!
