Ten ways to improve your Mental Health

Today in my little town the weather is rainy and the forecast does not look good for the rest of the weekend.  So instead of a Q and A, we are going to have the Top Ten Ways to improve your mental health
  1. Go for a walk.  Even if it is in the rain, the exercise will put you in a positive mood and will be good for your mental health. 
  2. Play with your kids. Get to their level and get into “their” world.
  3. Watch a funny move.  Monty Python and the Holy Grail anyone?
  4. Read a good book. Comics do count as books
  5. Attempt a hobby that you have never tried before. 
  6. Sing like no one is listening
  7. Dance like no one is watching
  8. Play a family game with new rules
  9. Chat with an old friend
  10. Reflect on the friends you have

Great tips Trevor! I giggled at the "comics do count as books" part.

I'd also add in a few others;

- Light your favourite candles- Have a hot bubble bath- Write

And if you've noticed that you're more blue when it's dark and rainy out (not much sun), try taking some Vitamin Ds. They really help!
