Here’s a fun and simple way to get little ones excited for Game Day! These football party favors are fun to make and even more fun to eat. And they’re just so cute!

Here’s what you need to get started:

Brown & white construction paper
Embroidery floss & needle
Scissors
Glue
Candies

Instructions:

I like to start by creating my own football stencil. To get a perfect shape, I fold a piece of paper in half, and then fold it in half again. This will leave you with a small rectangle. Now you can draw 1/4 of your football by rounding the corner of the open-ended side. Cut and unfold to unveil your stencil.

Now you can trace your football pattern onto the brown paper. Cut our 2 footballs and place them together until they line up.

Take your white paper and cut 1 longer thin strip, and 4 shorter (and slightly wider) strips to make your laces. Place the long strip along the center of the football cutout and glue down. Place the 4 strips, equally spaced, on top of the long strip and glue down.

Now you are ready to begin sewing! I use a simple hand stitch to sew around the football. Make sure to leave enough space to stuff with treats before sewing it closed.
