Keep your indoor cat happy & healthy ~ $150 Prize Pack #giveaway & a $10K feline-friendly room makeover!

My mom is a huge cat lover so cats were always a part of our family growing up. Now that I have 2 little girls, they love going to grandma and grandpas house and they LOVE grandmas furry companions.

Grandmas cats are playful and love to cuddle. They are healthy and happy and I’m pretty sure is is because of the environment they live in.

Dr. Margie and Steven and Chris have some great tips for keeping your indoor cat happy and healthy. One of things to consider is that your cat gets the right amount of exercise. Furniture placement and cat furniture can make all the difference for your furry friend. By giving your cats a place to play, jump and perch is a great way to arouse their natural curiosity and ensure they are healthy.

One also needs to remember that cats love to scratch.  Having a place for them to scratch is essential and needs to be considered to help cats be…well…cats.  Another must-have for cats is toys.  The same way we love to have our gadgets, toys and do-dads, cats enjoy being entertained too.

Remember, when designing a space in your home it is important to consider the needs of your cat companion.  From a cozy, quiet resting area to plenty of stimulation to fend off boredom, the space should be a reflection of your cat’s personality without sacrificing your own style.
