This nail art is simply perfect for summer. Everyone loves cute summer nail art and designs.
Seize the Summer is a Nicole by OPI collection that consists of four polishes. Including:
- Lay it on the Lime – This citrusy green is the limiest… and that’s the truth.
- LeaPink for Joy – This playful pink makes me jump and shout!
- Shaved Nice – Glittering and frosty… this is one sweet treat.
- The Coral of the Story – I’ve learned my lesson… nothing but this bright coral for me!
When I got these colours to try out I was super exited. They are very fun and I love having them on my nails for summer. I like that the three colours all have no shine but with the addition of a glitter polish to the collection you have the option of adding the sparkles to the shades if you wanted to.
The summer nail art design I created with these polishes is very simple. I first painted a coat of Lay it on the Lime then took a sponge and added spots of LeaPink for Joy. Then I took the green again and sponged over the parts I hadn’t put the pink on so every part of the nail had the sponge effect on it.
Then I added a few sparkly patches with Shaved Nice, again with the sponge. Lastly I just added some lines to form a kind of flower shape with a white thin tip in the corners of my ring finger and thumb. And there you have it! A simple design with the colours from Seize the Summer.

I love your designs Megan. Your description makes it sound so easy to get these effects, but I know I'd never achieve the looks you have here. You are very talented.
