A Visit To Sears Portrait Studio, Just In Time For The Holidays #SearsBabysRoom

This afternoon our family headed to Sears in Winnipeg to get our family portraits done just in time for Christmas. We were able to have our session for free and also get 10 free greeting cards. Be sure to keep reading to see how you can enter to win a free session & 10 greeting cards too.

Last month I was fortunate to visit The Sears Baby’s Room in Toronto. I was able to look around at the dress wear and I selected the two beautiful purple dresses, pictured in the photos above, for Kate and Jane. (The girls love to match, so I’m happy I found similar dresses for big sister and little sister). For our photo session we decided to go with a white backdrop because I prefer having the faces pop out on the pictures. I was thrilled with how fast the session went, the lady taking our photos had no trouble making the girls smile and I couldn’t believe how many “real” smiles she was able to get. Too often we get the fake “cheese” smiles, so I must say I’m impressed.

Although our girls were dressed in beautiful dresses, we wanted to make sure our photos were fun and casual to match our personalities. I loved that we were able to get a bunch of fun photos that will soon become masterpieces on our family room walls!
