Refresh With Lysol #healthyfamilies

Hello spring!  It’s time to break out the flip flops, summer jackets and say goodbye to those parka’s, toques and snow boots.  But wait…what is waiting for you as you pull out that box marked “summer fun” that contains all the sandals, flip flops, summer hats and light summer jackets?  Chances are there will be some odors that will accompany the clothes that have been packed away since last year.  Well the folks at Lysol have a solution for you.

Lysol has come out with a fabric refresher spray.  The Lysol Fabric Mister is a great way to get rid of unwanted smells.  Simply spray your stored away clothes and breathe in a breath of fresh air.  And with the Lysol Fabric Mister you are not just masking the smell; you are killing the bacteria that is causing the smell.  And we all know how good of a job Lysol does at getting rid of bacteria and germs in our homes.

There are lots of good applications for the Lysol Fabric Mister.  Use it on your winter clothing BEFORE you put it away so they have a fresh smell when you take them out in fall.  Make your hockey gear smell…well, not like hockey gear, or use it on any other sporting gear.  Or simply treat problem areas like bedding, pet areas, musty basement carpets or any other places where there is an unpleasant smell that lingers around the home.  We even sprayed our winter blankets before storing them away for the summer.  It was simple and we are going to love the rewards in fall.

This is a great product for treating cloth items that simply cannot fit or go in a washing machine.  We think it is safe to start storing our winter cloths (knock on wood…we do live in Manitoba after all) and we will be giving them a shot of Lysol Fabric Mist before they get placed in boxes.  But in 5 months when they get pulled out again, we will be thankful we did it.

Check out the Lysol Canada Facebook page for a big promotion!  They are giving away 2500 No-Touch Hand Soap dispensers each week for the next 5 weeks!!
