Our week in photos

The girls love to “help” with fall clean-up of the yard!

Daddy and kids build forts when mommy is away. I’m so glad they have fun together!

The girls have started sleeping together at night. They miss each other so much now that Snow White is in school all day – everyday!

Waking up for a quick tea party before school!

Belle has been working on this 5 layer beleduc body puzzle all week. She can almost complete it without help now.

This is a new work on the shelf that the kids all enjoy!

Practicing whistling. This skill has not yet been mastered. When do kids usually learn to whistle?

Spending time with family for Thanksgiving. Last year we had a snow on Thanksgiving. This year we were battling mosquitoes.

Hey Jody! So glad we connected on Twitter this morning. Your blog is AWESOME! I think I can safely say it rocks, is over-the-top, and you deserve any blog award Canada wants to give you! :) I can't believe how gorgeous your home & land are. And your children. Just amazing! I'm now officially obsessed with finding that beleduc puzzle - how cool - and last, but not least, I am 32 1/2 years old and still can't whistle. Like a tiny little sound comes out but it's not a respectable whistle. So keep working on it! No one coached me and I'm a whistle failure! -Lindsey (@OttosMomBlogs)

Great pics! Looks like a ton of fun. You have those little puzzles that I just blogged about...the little wooden block ones...what brand are those, do you know?

Valerie, We sure did have FUN! Thanks so much for voting, it means a LOT coming from YOU!

Megan, I think my girls are pretty adorable too! The animals are alpacas :)

Jen, Leaves are so much fun. They are all bagged now though. Glad we could have some fun in them before the weather got cold!

Marina, I'm so glad you found my blog. It is just over 7 months old now - I love "meeting" my new readers, so thanks for leaving a comment! I'm glad you appreciate the Montessori inspired posts! This is the first time I heard about the Canadian Blog Awards too!

What a great week you had! I just love the second picture with your daughter lounging in the leaves. I just found your blog yesterday and I have had such a great time looking through it. As an ECE I especially love all the Montessori information and ideas.

Congrats on the nominations! I wasn't even aware there were Canadian Blog awards, so I've learned something new today!

Cheers!Marina
