My girls ~ a Creative Photojournalism review

As a mom, I always get a bit stressed when it comes to getting professional photos taken of my girls. Last week I had the opportunity to meet Lindsay Woollard from Creative Photojournalism. We were at an event where Lindsay was taking photos for a number of families. We had a short time slot and my youngest daughter was crabby. I was thinking this was going to be a disaster in the making. If you are a mom, I’m sure you know exactly what I mean.

Well, let me tell you. Lindsay is a very talented photographer. Creative Photojournalism is not about photographing posed portraits. She followed the lead of the girls and let them choose what they wanted to sit on, if they wanted to sit together etc. Even though my youngest was a bit uncooperative (in my opinion) Lindsay did not seem to notice, she snapped away and before I knew it we were done.
