I had purchased my spindle boxes a little while back from Discount Montessori Materials but had not yet made the spindles (I knew I could make them for way less than buying them). I know some people use Popsicle sticks but i decided to go with these dowels I found at dollarama. I paid $2 and just had to cut them in half.Now that I have presented the Zero Activity to Snow White I can introduce this one to her. She will be excited to see this new activity on the shelf!

Amber,The black ones are pipe cleaners used to put the spindles in groups of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. They are used as a "control of error."
