The truth is, laundry doesn’t have to be difficult or annoying.

In fact, finding ways to simplify your routine can have you actually looking forward to doing laundry.

SEPARATE AHEAD OF TIME

Have separate hampers for your different types of laundry.

This is a sanity-saving laundry tip.

Have everyone sort their laundry into these baskets as they add to them.

You can even label each basket lights, darks, delicates, towels, and more so it is easy to tell when you have a full load.

This is great because you don’t have to spend time sorting through the laundry before starting a load, you can just put it in the washing machine.

PREPARE TO WASH

Before you head to bed each night, put a load of laundry in the washer.

Don’t start the machine but get the clothes inside and fill the dispenser with laundry detergent.

This gets things ready for the day ahead.

When you wake up in the morning, all you have to do is start the machine and by the time you are finished your morning routine, you can throw it in the dryer.

USE MESH LAUNDRY BAGS

If like many, you are tired of losing your socks, mesh laundry bags help to keep things together. No more sock gnomes in your home.

These bags will keep your socks together, so pairing them won’t take a long time either.

FOLD LAUNDRY RIGHT AWAY

While many people dread this step, it is usually because people put it off until it piles up and becomes overbearing.

If you fold your laundry straight out of the dryer and put it away it is less time-consuming.

This also relieves some stress because no one likes to see mountains of clean laundry in baskets, it just becomes overwhelming that way.

Fold it fresh from the dryer and put it away where it belongs, you will feel much better about laundry when it is completed.

There are several laundry tips to simplify your routine and save your sanity out there.

Just make sure to separate ahead of time, prepare to wash the night before, use mesh laundry bags and fold your laundry when it is fresh out of the dryer.

So many great tips. I like to fold and put it away as soon as it is dried so the clothes are not wrinkled.
