I would like to bring you all back to a simpler time in the late 80’s when I was proud to wear a mullet, Saturday morning cartoons were where it was at, and every morning started with a bowl of Frosted Flakes or Rice Krispies.
Yes…all of these things were the proud staples of my childhood. I can remember every morning pulling a chair up to the counter, crawling up onto the counter and getting my favorite yellow Tupperware cereal bowl. I would then pour the cereal into the bowl and follow it up with some milk. I remember thinking that it would be a great day after having my Kellogg’s cereal.
Fast forward today. The hair cut is gone (thanks to my wife), news is my new favorite viewing pleasure, but there is one thing that has not changed…Frosted Flakes has never left my side. High school, university and life today has always included Frosted Flakes. This is the Peter Pan in me that never grew up, and while sometimes the bowls have gotten bigger (yes I have had cereal in a mixing bowl) this is a great childhood memory that still holds onto me today.
Thanks to the Kelloggers Network we now have a good supply of Kellogg’s to keep the memories going!

I loved to eat Mini-Wheats or Rice Krispies, but Mom usually bought the trusted Corn Flakes (her favourite!)

Aww! I love Kellogg's; SO much history behind the brand! :) Our favourite was always Mini Wheats though, my mom would never let us have any other sweetened cereal. She insisted Frosted Flakes had too much sugar! :(
