A cork board is a great way to keep yourself organized. You can tack up any important papers, reminders, photos or maybe even your kids art work. Cork boards can sometimes be expensive (and boring looking!)
I was lucky enough to find this cork board at a thrift shop for only $2.00. Only problem was, it is incredibly UGLY.
I was considering covering it with fabric, but decided to use burlap instead as it was much cheaper.
What you will need:
A cork board
Scissors
Burlap (or fabric)
Staple gun and staples
All you have to do is take your burlap (or fabric) and lay it on the floor. Next place your cork board on top and wrap the fabric around your board. Staple the fabric to the board while occasionally pulling the fabric tight.
I was going to attach a couple of picture hangers to the back of my board so I could have the hubby hang it up, but they seem to have gone MIA (I will post a photo of it hanging next time).
If you have a cork board to jazz up I would love to see how it turns out!

I love your idea of decorating the cork board because I just bought a board and it needs to be spruced up
