Here I have for you a review on OPI’s infinite shine collection. There are 30 colours in this new addition of polishes so I won’t name them all right now, but the one I have to review is Raisin’ the Bar. This is a deep red that shows up lighter in real life than it does it the pictures I took of it on my nails.
So how long does this polish really last? It’s supposed to last 10 days without chip but I did some testing to see if it was true. I first tried it on myself but only had it on for 4 days. In those 4 days I had some chipping but it really was quite good. Of course the dominant hand took a bit more wear and tare but this polish definitely lasted longer than any normal polish.
I then asked my mom if she was willing to test it out, and for the whole 10 days. You see I am not a girl that can keep one design on my nails for long before I burst with ideas for new designs so my mom was the perfect solution! Like lots of mothers she goes through a lot with her hands in one day and so her nails take more hits than I do. What really surprised me was that when she reported back to me after this experiment she said the polish didn’t chip at all until the 3rd day! I was very impressed. The infinite shine collection is still made of nail polishes, not gels, so don’t expect perfection but this is the most long lasting polish I’ve ever encountered.
