Ruffles, ruffles and more ruffles! This is such a fun and easy way to decorate a cake. It gives a cake a nice whimsical touch great for any type of celebration.
With only one icing tip (Wilton 104) You can completely cover the cake with ruffles or just cover the sides. For the flowers, all I used was circle cutters in various sizes, one on top of the other.

Pretty! When I was 10, my mom took a cake decorating course and we had a different pretty cake every week - it was great! I don't have much patience for decorating cakes , but I could see myself maybe trying ruffles on a small cake. Thanks for showing this technique.
