PSSSST….in case any of you kids or dads forgot, Mother’s Day is this coming Sunday – May 13th.
Disney Junior is celebrating Mother’s Day with a We Love Mom marathon! You and your kids can sit back and watch specially-themed episodes of all your favorite shows. There will also be new episodes of Special Agent Oso and Jake and The Neverland Pirates. In Jake and The Neverland Pirates, Captian Hook’s mother comes for a visit. And you will never guess who voices Mother Hook – Sharon Osborne! These episodes start @ 9:00am EST on Sunday, May 13.
During May, we not only celebrate Mothers Day but there is another special occasion that is happening. DISNEY JUNIOR IS TURNING 1!
Disney Junior will have special birthday episodes of all your favorite shows, airing from Monday May 21st to Friday May 25th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm EST. In addition to these special birthday episodes, Disney Junior will be airing the movie A Bug’s Life on Saturday, May 26 starting at 6:00pm EST. So pop that popcorn, and cuddle up for a movie night as a special gift from Disney Junior to you on their 1st birthday!
Disney Junior is also excited to announce the launch of a new section on their website – the birthday section that you can access all year round to get some great ideas and to play some fun games. This section will include:
- Party Packs – From snack ideas, to party themes and invitations, you and your kids will have a blast planning their birthday party a la Disney Junior!
- e-Card Activity – Let your child design a Birthday e-Card for family and friends and schedule it to be delivered on their birthday! My kids have been having a lot of fun with this activity!
- Your little will love the new Happy Birthday Party Game featuring their favourite Disney Junior characters (I know MINE do!)
