Part of being a Guidecraft Educator allows me to review a variety of educational products.
One thing I personally look for when purchasing products is how long the product will be able to be used. The See Saw Sorter by Guidecraft is intended for ages 1+.
Stack the shapes on opposite ends of the see-saw to create a balanced platform. Shapes fit snugly in routed holes. Promotes color and shape recognition, balancing, color-matching and sequencing. Sturdy wooden construction with rounded corners and smooth edges, safe non-toxic paints with a clear finish. AGES 1+
We found out there are many extensions that allow this product to be used well into the elementary years. Here is one of the extensions 6 year old Kate enjoys. Priced at only $16 it well worth the investment.
Guidecraft has many other wooden toys that can stimulate the minds of young children.
