As we get into BBQ season we tend to get excited about all the various options about how to cook certain cuts of meat. Walk down any grocery store or read and self proclaimed BBQ “expert” and they will have all the insight about what rubs, sauces and mops to use to season your pork chops. And while there are many other options as far as how (Propane, charcoal, pellet, smoke etc.), we can get a little over zealous about what we put on our meat.
For this weeks mouth watering recipe of grilled pork chops, here is a list of the ingredient I used.
Ingredients:
- Thick cut pork chops
- Celtic Sea Salt
Yup that its.
Here is how you prepare them:
Select nice thick cut chops and pull them out of the fridge at lunch time. Sprinkle desired salt on both sides of the chops and let it rest at room temp till supper time. Heat grill to high and place chops on grill. Reduce heat till med and flip once. It is wise to use a meat thermometer to get desired doneness, however I like my pork a little bit pink.
No other spices, no other sauces, no other problems. This is all you need for a pure, delicious pork chop. It’s so easy to make and tastes truly delicious!
Enjoy 🙂

Just bought some pork chops so I will have to try this out – love simple! Did you do the veggies in the picture on the bbq too?
Jody @ Mommy Moment says
Yes Judy, we made those on the bbq too. We wrapped them in foil with some coconut oil and sea salt, they were delicious!

That’s all I like on mine to just salt, don’t want to wreck it with all the spices and sauce,

We (Hubby) BBQ all year long, he is out there in 60cm of snow sometimes. He loves doing pork chops as well as any other kind of meat and veggies. It’s lunch time now, I have to eat. See what this post has done
