Geometric Solids Fun

I have shown the children introductory “lessons” on the Geometric solids but for some reason they just never seemed interested in working with them. I decided to purchase the Geometric Solid Matching Cards from Montessori for Everyone.
For now I have left the papers all as one, but as the children become more comfortable with this work I will cut the cards apart to introduce different activities.
This work has now been chosen everyday for the past week. Do you have any other neat ideas that I could use these Geometric Solids for?
My geometric solids were purchased from Discount Montessori Materials

Hi there, Leaving the cards as sheets is a good idea for the younger children. If you cut them apart, you might try putting only a few cards out at a time and stretch your use of the cards. I suppose you could make your own cards with publishing or word processing program quite easily. Many of the pictures are available as stock photos for free. Thanks for letting me put in my two cents.Kathywww.kathysmontessorilife.blogspot.com

Hooray for Montessori! We have these printouts too, but we're still in the process of getting to know the solids! :)
