Right after Christmas there was a great sale on the big boxes of Christmas colored Rice Krispies cereal. I bought a box and forgot about it till earlier this week.
I wanted to make a small snack for my daughter to bring to school for her lunch so I decided to make a batch of Rice Krispie squares and cut them out using cute cookie cutters.
We use this rice krispies squares recipe.

Of course the first one she selected for her lunch was the extra one I cut out using a bigger “teapot” cookie cutter… it had to be squished to fit…
It makes me smile to know how much she loves her Lovable Lunches!

This is such a great idea! Now hopefully my kids have changed their minds about rice krispy treats because they didn't like them last time I tried, but since they didn't it's been about a year since I last tried them...Guess it's time to try again :D
