We enjoyed Super Bowl Sunday Old School Style. We could not find a place to stream the big event online (We are in Canada), so we tuned into the local radio station for the big game.(Well at least the first half…I tweeted for #TeamCoke during the second quarter #PepsivsCoke Twitter party and then got the kiddos to bed).
Of course we had a blast because we love hanging out as a family.
We started the pre-game activities by making Football Brownies.
We bought a Brownie cake mix and made them according to the directions.
Next we covered the brownies in chocolate frosting and let them cool.
Once they had cooled down we cut the brownies into diamond shapes and piped the football ties onto the footballs. The girls had so much fun making their football brownies!
Of course a party with football brownies is pretty cool, but it’s even better pair with Coke and ConAgra’s Orville Redenbacher Popcorn! This was the first time we tried the Spicy Nacho popcorn, a bit too spicy for the girls, but just right for mommy and daddy!

Great idea with the brownies. I bought a football shaped pan at the Bulk Barn. If I was better at piping I would post a picture. LOL. No matter, my son thought it was the best cake ever.
