Putting Finish Quantum to the test {Photos} #FinishRevolution

I was told to put the Finish Quantum dishwasher tabs to the test this week, so what better way to do this than with oven baked BBQ chicken and mashed potatoes.  This is a favorite meal in our home and very simple to make and happy to say that clean up turned out to be very easy too!

The first step in this Quantum test is to take an aluminum cooking sheet (I must admit that I do not have any nice new shiny pans, so there was some staining already on my pan when I began) that will get BBQ sauce and chicken baked on so hard that it would take heavy duty scrubbing by hand to get rid of all the baked on goodness.  Once you have the innocent pan ready to go then you place a freshly cut up whole chicken on the sheet.  Add your favorite spice(s), garlic and maybe a little more garlic with some seasoning salt and place in the oven 350.

After it has cooked for about 45 min, take out and smother it in the richest, stickiest, sweetest BBQ sauce you can find.  The key is to be generous with the BBQ sauce on the chicken and as a consequence the sheet also.  By now you can see some of the mess that his baked onto the sheet and you are only adding to the complicated concoction that will be the ultimate test for Finish Quantum tabs.  Bake till the chicken is cooked through and then broil the chicken for 3 min to give it that extra crispy exterior that candies the BBQ sauce and helps seal in the juicy goodness.  This will also make the baked on mess on the sheet hard as a rock and next to impossible to get off.

We decided to have the baked chicken with a side of mashed potatoes and some veggies.

Now the next step is one that no one enjoys but I quickly discovered that Finish Quantum made this job easy.

I gave my wife a break and cleaned up and loaded the dishwasher with all the dishes including what I thought was the ultimate test, the cookie sheet. I did NOT rinse the dishes before loading them in.

An hour later I went to the dishwasher expecting to take out the cookie sheet and do the usual clean the rest off in the sink, but not this time!  The pot from the mashed potatoes was completely clean and in my opinion the Finish Quantum passed the ultimate test when it came to the pan too, I was actually shocked. It was not perfect, but for that hard stuck on mess I was very impressed. I have never had results like this with any other detergent in the past. Take a look for yourself…

Happy cooking everyone and lets all try our best to challenge the Finish Quantum and share our stories.

What food do you find the hardest for the dishwasher to get clean?

that is impressive for sure, I would have totally used tin foil underneath, it would take a good while to get that clean by hand!

That's excellent! And I always find mashed potato impossible to get off. All that starch! Mashed potato pots have been banned from the dishwasher, but I'll have to try again with the Quantum
