For this weeks Work of Art Wednesday we made Finger puppet pals. I had many other ideas floating around in my head, but since our home was Hit HARD with the flu (me & little Belle) I decided to go for an easy craft that would keep 4 year old Snow White entertained for a while while I rested.
I drew an animal on manila tag paper. Snow White colored and cut out the animal.
For the elephant I cut out a hole for the trunk, and for the bunny I cut out two holes for the front hopping legs.
She kept saying that the elephant was drinking water from the puddle it was sitting in!
After playing with them for a while she decided to go back and make bunny more colorful (as you can see in the first picture).
Who knew something so simple would create such a fun afternoon of playing for Snow White!
Surprisingly she did not even mind that the size comparison was way out!

These finger puppets are adorable!Hope you're all feeling better. My kiddos, my husband and I passed along cold germs for about 5 weeks - it was rough-going!
