The DewStop humidity and condensation fan switch helps prevent mold and mildew in any room in your house.
My husband has been looking for a switch like this for a while, so we were really excited to be able to try one out.
The DewStop fan switch is simple and easy to install so you won’t need to call a handyman – anyone can install it! All you need to do is connect your new or existing bathroom exhaust fan to the DewStop switch. (If you need a little help, check out the How To Install video) We did have a small problem fitting on the face-plate for the switch because the DewStop switch is slightly thicker than our other switches. But with a little bit of creativity it fit into the switch box.
When the DewStop fan switch senses that the condensation levels are too high, it will automatically turn on and stay on until the condensation is no longer a problem and your room is dry. Another great feature of the DewStop switch is that you can also turn it on and off manually should you need to.
Since the DewStop only comes on when it is needed and runs for only 30 minutes, it helps save on energy costs – which is a HUGE plus around here!
The DewStop is perfect for the bathroom, the attic, the garage and even the sun room. Pretty much wherever humidity and mold could be a problem.

I would install this in our basement as it’s really damp. Right now we have an old fan (read: energy hog) running all the time.
Thanks for making this open to Canadians.
