We are a game-loving family. After the kids are in bed, hubby and I love to sit down and play different board games together. Strategy, word and brain games are some of our favorites. Our kids take after us and also love to play games. The types of games they enjoy are learning games – especially my daughter. Carson Dellosa provides those types of learning games and activities that my kids enjoy!
Carson-Dellosa Publishing has been providing teachers, parents and children with great educational materials for over 35 years. These materials are great supplementary tools for use in both the classroom and at the kitchen table.
With educational materials that include interactive digital resources; supplemental tools for all subjects such as math, science, social studies, language arts, and early childhood there is something for every level of student. Teachers will also find decoratives for their classrooms, pocket charts and games for pre-kindergarten students all the way through eighth grade students.
We received 2 games from Carson-Dellosa to review. Since my daughter is in grade 1 and my son going into Kindergarten next year, I wanted games that would help them both and yet still be fun for us to play as a whole family.
We received the Language Arts Learning Games Board Game for Pre-K/K and the Math Learning Games Board Game for Grade 1.
Each game box comes with 4 different games. Each game includes 1 game board, four game pieces, playing cards, and its own storage box, so you can play each game individually at the same time.
The instructions to each game are on the back of the box and have a picture to show the game.
These games have been a hit in our house! They have helped as an incentive to get the kids ready in the morning and out the door. They want to sit down and play every morning, so my new rule is that if they can get dressed and ready before we need to walk out the door, they can play one of the games.
Carson Dellosa also partners with the Guinness World Records®, The World of Eric Carle®, and Ian Falconer’s OLIVIA™.
There are SO many different items on the Carson Dellosa website, I haven’t had a chance to view them all, but I will definitely be looking through the website some more. There are some really great gift ideas!
