Easter & The Children’s Miracle Network #KinderMom

Easter is a special time in our family.  My husband’s family has always celebrated Easter with almost as much enthusiasm as Christmas.  We plan a day to spend together eating, laughing and playing, and everyone gets gifts.

I always look for gifts that don’t just involve candy or chocolate.  I try to find word search or activity books or outdoor toys.  Of course there HAS to be a chocolate component and what better chocolate to give than one with a toy inside: a Kinder egg!

We are very lucky that all my nieces and nephews are healthy and can join us for the fun, family holiday Easter.  However, not every family is so lucky.  KINDER® has partnered with The Children’s Miracle Network and has started “A Joy to Share” campaign.  The ‘A Joy to Share’ campaign is the KINDER® way of bringing joy to families who are facing sickness and illness this Easter season.

KINDER® is going to be showcasing moms who have been affected by and benefited from the work of the Children’s Miracle Network.  They will be sharing their heartfelt stories and experiences through the KINDER® Canada Facebook page.  Head over there and share your stories and offer support to these wonderful real-life heroes.

Also, feel free to share your Easter stories and photos with all the other moms that will be interacting on the KINDER® Canada Facebook page.

“Disclosure: I’m part of the Kinder® Mom program and I receive special perks as part of my affiliation with this group. The opinions on this blog are my own.”

We always have gifts at Easter as well. Usually something small for outdoors, to celebrate the arrival of spring.
