With the kids in school now full swing, one of the major challenges of being a mom is what to make for lunch!
If you are like me, it is hard to find creative, healthy ideas to make for lunch at home or to send along to school.
Jody (founder of Mommy Moment) has, in my opinion, found a neat, creative and cheap way to combat the lunch-making blues. Check out some of the great lunches she makes for her daughters – Kate, who is in grade 1 and 3 year old Jane.
With a little imagination and some cheap cookies cutters you can make any fruit, vegetable or meat fun to eat.
Jody mentions in one of her recent lunch posts that she thought her 3 year old was a picky eater because she would only take 1 bite out of a sandwich or wrap. However, when she gave Jane each of the pieces individually she had a great time putting together her own mini sandwiches and finished her lunch!
Dempster’s has launched Dempster’s Lunchbox Inspirations. This great site has simple, easy and great tasting recipes from moms like you and me! There are also great tips to make lunchtime making and routine easier.
We at Mommy Moment are excited to announce that Dempster’s will be providing 1 lucky Mommy Moment reader with a Hamilton Beach Panini Grill (ARV $80)!
