Cinnamon Scented Sensory bin

This month’s sensory tub is our BEST one yet! We used Valentine’s day as our theme. Want to know what we used…large flake oatmeal, a bit of granola, coconut, cinnamon hearts, and some pine cones.
Snow White spent over an hour working with this bin. She poured, she piled, she tried to sort it all (take out the cones and the cinnamon hearts), and she had fun hiding her little tea cup…can you see it peaking through on the last picture?
What a HIT!

(note: since I wrote this post a week ago, this bin has been used WAY more than an hour…who knew a child could sit for 2 hours at a time working with this?)

Neat! We'll have to try this when we are no longer at my in-laws. (We don't see eye to eye regarding food in sensory tubs!) I saw another great sensory bin at Counting Coconuts.

So neat! I have never tried a sensory tub, but I think my 3-year old would love it!
