CHOCOLATE ALMOND SMOOTHIE BOWL RECIPE
This Chocolate Almond Smoothie Bowl is the perfect breakfast. Loaded with bananas, almond butter and chocolate, it's packed with protein. Enjoy this chocolate smoothie bowl for breakfast, a midday snack or even an irresistible dessert!
Ingredients
- 1 medium frozen banana
- 1/4 cup almond milk or cow’s milk
- 1 tablespoon creamy almond butter
- 1 teaspoon honey (or more to taste)
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup to 1 cup ice cubes
- Toppings: Banana slices, granola, almonds and dark chocolate chunks
Instructions
- Place the banana, milk, almond butter, honey, and cocoa powder in a blender.
- Puree until smooth. Add ice and puree again until smooth.
- Pour into a bowl and top with banana slices, granola, almonds and dark chocolate chunks.
- Serve immediately.
