Changing Brains DVD GIVEAWAY (CLOSED)

As a mom and educator I am always eager to learn more about child development.
I was contacted by the Brain Development Lab at the University of Oregon, to see if I would be interested in watching a DVD called Changing Brains (easy to understand information and practical recommendations based on the current research in developmental neuroscience).
My first thought was what in the world is neuroscience? Why would I want to watch this? What mom or teacher reads nature neuroscience anyway?
I decided to watch the video so that I could give a review to other people who may be thinking the same thing. Guess what? I loved that Changing Brains really was easy to understand and that it kept me interested. I learned many facts about the brain and I loved that every statement in the DVD was supported by evidence from solid scientific studies. There are nine segments specific to different brain systems and each includes evidence about the brain functions and structures that underlie different aspects of human behavior and cognition.

Have I peaked your interest? Do you want to know more?
Guess what? All of the content is freely available at http://changingbrains.org

Interesting website. I learned that the brain does not grow after it has been damaged. [email protected]

From the website, I learned they back up all of their statements with scientific evidence. That's a big plus for me!
